The SISS BabyControl is a dedicated infant respiratory monitor designed to assist in the detection of prolonged pauses in breathing (apnoea) in babies and infants. Ideal for use in hospital environments, neonatal wards, or at home monitoring of at-risk infants (under physician supervision), the device monitors diaphragm movements via a body-sensor and triggers both visual and audible alarms if a preset threshold of interrupted respiration is exceeded.
