It enables instructors to simulate a wide range of respiratory scenarios—such as variable compliance, resistances, and leaks—while students observe real ventilator waveforms in a safe, controlled environment. The unit offers straightforward control knobs for resistance, leak, and compliance adjustments and connects via a standard 15 mm ISO port compatible with ventilator circuits. This training lung model allows educators to visually and mechanically demonstrate ventilator-patient interactions, pathologies like air trapping or tube leaks, and spontaneous breath triggering by manual actuation.
