- Features:
- Dual Parameter smart & compact Respiratory & Pulmonary Monitor: The Capnostream 20p patient monitor with microstream technology provides a complete measurement of a patient’s oxygenation and ventilation status and Supports current standards of care by providing etCO2 and SpO2 measurements.
- Integrated Pulmonary Index Algorithm (IPI ): IPI algorithm presents one value that demonstrates real-time respiratory status which incorporates four real-time respiratory measurements: etCO2, respiratory rate, pulse oximetry and pulse rate, into a single number that represents an inclusive respiratory profile providing an integrated snapshot of a patient’s respiratory status and displayed on a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 indicating a normal respiratory status.
- Trend feature provides an early indication of changes in the patient’s respiratory status that may not be indicated by the current value of any of the four parameters individually.
- Smart Alarm Management Integrated Algorithms: The Capnostream 20p patient monitor with microstream includes smart alarm management integrated Algorithms, a suite of algorithms to recognize and reduce clinically insignificant respiratory alarms, while accurately reflecting the patient’s condition and preserving clinically significant alarm vigilance.
- Smart Breath Detection (SBD) algorithm rejects shallow, non-breath etCO2 excursions (talking, snoring, crying cardiogenic artifact) from being counted as breaths.
- Smart Alarm for Respiratory Analysis (SARA): Reduces clinically insignificant alarms.
- Nellcor SatSeconds: Alerts clinicians to clinically significant changes in pulse oximetry.
- Apnoea-Sat Alert Algorithm (ASA ): Tracks and reports apnoeas per hour and oxygen desaturation index, and provides the data in trend reports to help caregivers identify the need for increased patient surveillance or intervention; confirm treatment; or understand the need to change treatment.
- Connectivity: Compatible with central monitoring systems and interfaces with nurse call systems and electronic medical records.
